Configuration & engineering scope
Product transfer & inlet control
Keep the product sterilization responsibility separate from the filler.
Functional assembly context. This drawing does not identify a supplied model or its dimensions.
The interface duty
Identify the upstream sterilizer, any sterile holding arrangement, connecting pipework and control handover. The filler inlet specification needs temperature, pressure, flow and product behaviour. Define the response to a lost upstream condition before production.
- Inlet
- Product from a defined and validated upstream process
- Outlet
- Product at the required filling conditions
Information that defines the specification
Inlet temperature, pressure and flow window
Valve states and process interlocks
Deviations, isolation and restart ownership
Use the actual bag and product to establish the final equipment schedule. Model identity, fill mass range, cycle rate, accuracy test and utility conditions belong together in the proposal.
Cleaning and acceptance are part of the scope.
Identify product-contact surfaces, removable parts, manual access, cleaning return and the agreed pre-sterilization boundary. Acceptance compares the agreed configuration under the specified product and package conditions.
