CONNECTED PROCESS DUTIES
Other equipment around the aseptic filling boundary
Define what happens before product reaches the filler, how it is transferred and how the circuit is cleaned. These introductions explain related operations on this site; the quoted supply scope and product-specific acceptance remain to be agreed.
Discuss the process interfacesPROCESS & SELECTION
Tube-in-Tube Sterilizers
A tubular sterilization system heats, holds and cools the product before it reaches an aseptic filler. The product treatment and sterile transfer route are separate from the filling head and package-handling cycle.
Typical process boundary
Prepared product passes through a defined heating and holding route, then a controlled cooling and transfer boundary. Particle size, rheology and the required product process determine the review; a filler model is not evidence of an adequate sterilization treatment.
Information for selection
Provide the product composition, particle limits, operating range and intended pack. Agree who establishes and validates the scheduled process, sterile transfer, diversion and restart conditions.
PROCESS & SELECTION
Vacuum Deaeration Equipment
Vacuum deaeration removes gas from a compatible liquid stream before the next processing operation. Its duty concerns entrained or dissolved gas, foam and controlled discharge rather than filling or product sterilization.
Typical process boundary
The liquid is presented to a vacuum treatment zone and discharged to the downstream process. Product temperature, viscosity and foam influence the trial and the handling route. The aseptic boundary still needs to be established separately.
Information for selection
State the incoming product condition, gas or foam objective, measurement method and downstream temperature. Define vacuum, pumping, cleaning and transfer interfaces; confirm the outcome with representative product trials.
PROCESS & SELECTION
Fruit Pulpers and Finishers
Pulping and finishing separate prepared fruit into a useful pulp stream and seed, skin or fibre rejects. They help define the product entering later heat treatment and filling; they do not establish sterility.
Typical process boundary
Prepared fruit is separated using the offered working assembly and screen arrangement. A crusher, destoner and pulper perform different duties. Compare recovery, reject condition and desired texture on a representative prepared feed.
Information for selection
Bring the fruit preparation method, target texture, seed and fibre limits and the next treatment step. Confirm the product envelope at the filler; screen aperture alone does not describe the final particle distribution.
PROCESS & SELECTION
CIP Cleaning Systems
CIP circulates defined cleaning media through selected closed process circuits. The cleaning supply and return must be matched to the equipment and verified; open parts and package interfaces may need a different cleaning method.
Typical process boundary
Define the product-contact circuit from upstream treatment through transfer and filling. Specify supply, return, drainage and monitoring points. Cleaning and sterilization are different operations; successful circulation alone is not proof of an aseptic boundary.
Information for selection
Identify soils, accessible surfaces, cleaning chemistry and temperature limits, utility availability and verification responsibilities. Agree which parts are included in CIP, which need opening and how the line is returned to its operating state.
