Describe the purée, not just the fruit
Provide the Brix range, pulp content, fibre size and any added ingredients. Mango purée can be smooth or fibrous, and the same fruit can produce different viscosity after refining or concentration. Record the viscosity and the temperature at which it was measured; a value without a temperature is difficult to use for pump and valve selection. If the product range includes several cultivars or concentration levels, describe the limiting condition, not only the typical one.
Fibre and pulp affect the filling path
Review the pump, pipework, valves, filling head and bag fitment as one passage. The smallest restriction may be outside the head. Fibrous pulp can bridge at a valve seat or accumulate on a screen; a larger fitment alone does not solve every restriction. Confirm how a blockage is detected and cleared, and how the product is protected during a stop. A representative trial should use the agreed pulp and fibre distribution.
Choose the package around the market
Food-service and retail packs often use 1–25 L bag-in-box, while ingredient buyers may use 200 L drums or 1000 L bins. The package changes the support, weighing range, head reach and closure sequence. For drum or bin filling, confirm the liner, fitment and filled mass. For bag-in-box, confirm the box insertion and packing sequence. Do not assume that a filler configured for one format can run another without change parts and a new trial.
Protect colour and flavour
Mango purée is sensitive to heat and oxygen. The filler receives product at the agreed inlet condition and must maintain the aseptic boundary; it does not sterilise the product. Minimise unnecessary holding and exposure at the filling head, and define the response to a stop. The upstream UHT or other validated process, the package barrier and the storage conditions together determine shelf life.

AF1D twin-head bag-in-drum filler
Two filling positions for 200 L class aseptic bags. The AF1D is the reference model when drum handling can overlap and the product supply, conveyors and operator access can support two stations.

Bulk bags change the scale of every interface: head reach, liner support, filled load, weighing, container movement and the time needed to fill one package.
Review the model ↗AF2SAF2S single-head bag-in-box filler
A compact single-head model for 1–25 L aseptic bags in boxes. The AF2S is the starting point when retail and food-service pack sizes, quick changeovers and a small footprint matter more than bulk drum output.

Frequently asked questions
Can a juice filler handle mango purée?
Suitability depends on the pulp, fibre, viscosity, fitment and cleaning. A filler rated for clear juice may not have the passage or cleaning access for fibrous purée. Review the complete product path and test the actual product.
Which package is best for mango purée?
It depends on the buyer. Bag-in-box suits smaller food-service packs; bag-in-drum and IBC liners suit bulk ingredients. The package choice changes the filling cell, not just the bag size.
What should a mango purée enquiry include?
Send Brix, pulp and fibre content, viscosity with test temperature, filling temperature, target package, net mass, output and upstream process details.
