Two filling positions for 1–25 L aseptic bags. The AF2D is the reference model when the finished-box rate, not the filling phase alone, justifies a second station.

The AF2D is the twin-head bag-in-box model. It is designed to overlap bag presentation and filling across two positions, with a published family maximum of 5 t/h and 2 kW installed power.
A second head only helps if the bag supply, fitment handling, closure, boxing and operator work can keep both positions fed. At small pack sizes, those tasks often set the pace.

When two bag-in-box heads make sense
Use the AF2D when a single position cannot meet the finished-box target and the handling sequence can genuinely overlap. Map the work at each position: bag pick-up, fitment connection, filling, cap closure, inspection and boxing. If those steps share one operator or one boxing station, the second head may simply move the queue.
The catalogue maximum of 5 t/h is a family reference. The meaningful figure is finished boxes per hour under your product, pack size and staffing assumptions.
The AF2 family uses flow-meter metering. With two heads, confirm how the product supply is divided, whether the heads fill simultaneously and how the control system responds when one head stops. A shared supply must be able to meet the combined demand without unacceptable pressure or flow variation.
Define the fill target, the allowed tolerance and the sampling method for each head. The meter reference accuracy is not the same as the finished-package acceptance result.
Confirm the bag, cap, fitment and box for each product. If the line runs several pack sizes, include the change parts and the changeover time in the comparison. A twin-head machine with a long changeover can be less useful than a single-head machine that switches faster.
Plan the bag supply, box supply and finished-pack accumulation. The filling cell should not be starved upstream or blocked downstream.
The catalogue reference for the twin-head model is approximately 100 kg/h steam and 0.06 m³/h compressed air at 0.6–0.8 MPa. Final demand depends on the cleaning and sterilisation sequence.
Acceptance should cover both heads, the closure sequence, the boxing handover and the control response to a head stop. Use the actual product and package; a water trial does not establish viscous or pulpy performance.
Manufacturer photographs show the filling head, drum or container handling and the connected cell. Final configuration, guarding and finish depend on the project.

PRODUCT FIT
Applications to review with this equipment.
Product names are a starting point. Viscosity, particles, temperature and the package interface determine whether a trial is needed.
The catalogue maximum rises from up to 3 t/h to up to 5 t/h, not simply double. Bag handling, boxing, operator work and shared supply limit the finished-box rate.
Can the two heads run different bag sizes?
That depends on the proposed change parts and control recipe. Do not assume that two different fitments can run simultaneously. Confirm the configuration and changeover procedure.
What is the air and steam demand?
Catalogue reference: approximately 100 kg/h steam and 0.06 m³/h compressed air at 0.6–0.8 MPa for the twin-head model. Confirm the final demand schedule for the offered configuration.
Is the AF2D suitable for 25 L bags?
The AF2 family covers 1–25 L. The practical upper limit depends on the bag, product density, support and handling. Confirm the exact package drawing before fixing the model.
