A compact single-head model for 1–25 L aseptic bags in boxes. The AF2S is the starting point when retail and food-service pack sizes, quick changeovers and a small footprint matter more than bulk drum output.

The AF2S is the single-head model for bag-in-box filling. It handles 1–25 L aseptic bags, with a flow-meter metering system and a protected filling head. The small package changes the economics: presentation, fitment handling, closure and boxing can take a larger share of each cycle than the fill itself.
Use the AF2S when a single filling position can meet the required finished-box rate, or when the product and package range changes often enough that a simple, accessible cell is an advantage.

Small packages need a complete-cycle view
At 1–25 L, the time to present the bag, connect the fitment, fill, close, inspect and insert the bag into its box can dominate the cycle. The published maximum of 3 t/h is a catalogue reference; the finished-box rate must be measured with the actual bag, cap, box and operator sequence.
If the box is loaded after filling, plan the bag support and the transfer to the boxing station. If the bag is filled in its box, confirm the box geometry, access to the fitment and the stability of the package during filling.
The AF2S is listed with flow-meter metering. The meter needs a stable, representative flow and a defined stop sequence. For pulp, fibre or particulate products, confirm the meter type and the passage through the filling head and fitment before assuming compatibility.
The bag neck and cap remain the mechanical interface. Send the exact fitment drawing and cap revision. The catalogue 1 in and 2 in mouth sizes are a starting point, not a compatibility guarantee.
The AF2S is often used where several juices, concentrates or food-service products share a filling room. Recipe management, changeover access and cleaning between products matter as much as headline output. Map the product-contact path, the fitment change parts and the cleaning return.
If the same line also needs 200 L drums, do not assume that a bag-in-box head can be adapted without checking the head, support, weighing range and handling sequence. A separate drum station or a multi-format model may be the better answer.
The filler receives treated product from an upstream sterilizer or sterile holding system. Confirm the inlet temperature, pressure and flow window, and define what happens if the supply is interrupted. The filler does not sterilise the product.
Downstream, define the box erector, bag inserter, coder, case packer and palletiser interfaces. The filling cell should hand over a closed, identified package without exposing the fitment or disturbing the bag.
Manufacturer photographs show the filling head, drum or container handling and the connected cell. Final configuration, guarding and finish depend on the project.

PRODUCT FIT
Applications to review with this equipment.
Product names are a starting point. Viscosity, particles, temperature and the package interface determine whether a trial is needed.
The catalogue lists 1–25 L bag-in-box sizes for the AF2 family. Confirm the exact bag drawing, fitment and box dimensions for your product, because the working range may be narrower than the family range.
Is flow-meter filling suitable for pulpy juice?
It depends on the meter type and the complete product path. Provide the pulp or particle size, concentration and flow behaviour. A representative trial is needed before claiming compatibility.
Can the AF2S fill 200 L drums?
The AF2 family is the bag-in-box platform. Do not assume that a drum format can be added without checking the head, bag support, weighing range and handling sequence. Use the AF1 or a multi-format model for drum duties.
Does the AF2S include box packing?
The filling machine fills and closes the bag. Box erection, bag insertion, case packing and palletising are separate line interfaces. Confirm the scope you need in the enquiry.
Send the product, bag or container, target net mass, output and site conditions. We will confirm the model, scope and evidence needed for the next step.
